The Leader

The Leader is Wrexham and Flintshire’s newspaper of record. It is first with the breaking news five days a week. The strong coverage of northeast Wales is complemented by a Chester edition, which regularly brings the latest news to the city first. In September 2009, Wales’ last evening daily title, the Evening Leader changed to a morning daily title, becoming the Leader. Average issue readership at 64,110 adults per night and 91,702 readers over a week makes the Leader the newspaper with the largest weekly readership in the Chester, Wrexham and Flintshire area.
