The Oswestry and Border Counties Advertizer

The Advertizer was established in 1849 and as such has been serving Oswestry and the border counties area for over 150 years. The Advertizer is the only newspaper published specifically for Oswestry and district and no other title can offer anywhere near the coverage in terms of readership in the area. Known affectionately locally as the "Tizer", the newspaper has grown sale consistently over the last 8 years, increasing copy sales by more than a 1,000 copies a week since 1999. It is generally recognised as the "bible" of local news, sport, advertising and information.
